I had woken up one morning after really turbulent dreams, taken by a sudden desire for metamorphoses. My body had to change, I needed it to suddenly become something else, I needed an event to make it transgress the laws of nature, so that my mirror could give me a new reflection.
However, my own experience of the body confirms only a part of the references that were instilled in me. A part of my perceptions will never find their echo in the pictures I can identify with. My experience of the flesh exeeds the organization, the meaning of my body. I undertook a journey to revisit and take a fresh look at the figures that determine my form today, my substance and my structure. I wanted to revise them or to see maybe a resemblance to other elements of the world. So I was unlearning my anatomy to understand it differently, to reconstruct or even create a new one. I tried to create a proper definition of anatomy to release my body from its established organization. I am therefore free to imagine a larger body, a body without limits.
